ABOUT Kristen

A SoCal native, Kristen graduated from Sarah Lawrence College in 2011, with concentrations in Theater and Music. She made her Los Angeles debut in the fall of 2012 as Little Sally in Fraggled Productions' Urinetown: The Musical at the Lounge Theater. Shortly after, she played Mandy in the pilot episode of the webseries Princess Business (IMDb). She played Logainne Schwarzandgrubenierre in Fraggled's 2014 production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee at the Cupcake Theater in Hollywood. Her festival debut followed the next month in the Alliance of Los Angeles Playwright's (ALAP) first contribution to the Hollywood Fringe Fest: Sex, Lies, and Social Media-- a collection of short plays, in which she played Jen in Lorin Howard's Uncomfortable Sex. She played Josephine, the framed housewife, in the film noir The Deep Feint, as well as performed in a staged reading of auto-biographical poems by Marilyn Beker titled This Narrow Ledge. She played a featured role in the short film Matched which will be making the festival rounds in 2016, and is currently working on a staged reading titled, Girls Together Always.

She frequently performs improv comedy with her long-form. group, Calico High School, throughout LA, and has performed stand-up at various venues including The World Famous Comedy Store and Westside Comedy Theater.
